Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Being initially drawn by the shadows of trees she spotted on grass, she spent months exploring a process that does not present the object in a two-dimensional form on canvas. The subject instead transforms into a re-creation of itself, where the surface is the vehicle for its individual interpretation of the subject, particularly when the subjects are live or perishable objects for example, like humans or fruits. Alexa Meade's works are fleeting, but the photo is what is left. Both photographic and painting techniques are so closely coordinated that the end result is a flat, two dimensional space, which achieves trompe l'oeil, wherein the third dimension can only be seen in specific areas that are close to the eyes, or near hair. Meade is also able to integrate her model paintings into the space of 3D that surrounds the models. The interaction between them as well as the world they created can be achieved. The lines between performance, photography, installation and painting are thus dissolved.
