When she was a child, she was raised among actors, her godfather was an actor Telly Savalas, a close family friend of Jennifer's father. Her life was scattered across different regions of the nation due to the acting skills of her father. Her parents separated after the time she was in New York. She was separated from her mother. In the age of six her first day of school, she enrolled in classes at Rudolf Steiner School, a Waldorf school for children which focuses on the ideas and methods of Rudolf Steiner. Aniston was a talented artist, and her works have been exhibited at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. Aniston decided that she would follow a career in acting after she went to the Broadway show entitled: Children of a Lesser God. When she was 15 she was admitted into The New York High School for Actors. In Manhattan, after she finished her education and graduated, Ms. Jackson Hole worked for the restaurant chain The Jackson Hole. Due to her impressive acting skills, she was offered several roles in Off-Broadway productions like For Dear Life at the New York Public Theater and Dancing On Checker's Grave. Los Angeles was her new place of residence in 1989 as she looked for more roles. At the time of her arrival, she appeared on several TV shows.
